Jamal, a ‘slumdog’ grew up in the slums of Mumbai in a time when the city was still called Bombay. The beautifully shot story pictures the life of someone who has had to endure corruption, injustice and poverty throughout his life. Not knowing that all he has been through has always been part of a bigger plan as he takes part in ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (Who wants to be a millionaire) to find his love.

A must see. Will be released 12th February in Dutch theatres.
